The deadline for submission of Resolutions to the next Diocesan Convention is September 3, 2012. Please submit your resolution electronically to the Chair of Resolutions, The Rev. Mary Morrison, at rector@stjamespasorobles.org .
  • Resolution A - Poverty (PDF)
  • Resolution B - Minimum Clergy Compensation (PDF)
  • Resolution C - Parish Status for St. Philip the Apostle (PDF)
  • Any resolution other than those arising out of the business of the convention or the bishop’s address or of the reports of any official diocesan body which has not been submitted in accordance with the procedures in Section 1 of the Rules of Order of the Constitution and Canons must be in writing and filed with the Secretary of Convention, together with sufficient copies (300) for distribution to all members of convention, prior to the first report of the Committee on Resolutions which is scheduled for Friday, November 2, 2012, at approximately 3:55 p.m.  Any such resolutions may be offered at the conclusion of the report of the Committee on Resolutions, and if it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds (2/3) of the voting members present, it may be  considered on its merits as any other resolution.
